Shipping policy
We handmake our butter crunch in small batches and package orders as we receive them so that what you order arrives at your door as fresh as can be. As a result, we generally ship 3-5 business days after your order is received.

Please note that our ORDER FULFILLMENT TIME is in addition to any SHIPPING DELIVERY TIME that is represented by USPS in the Shipping Method section on our site. (The shipping delivery time is what USPS estimates as the time it will take for your order to get from us to you once your order has shipped.)
We appreciate your patience while we hand prepare your order (no big machines here!) ... it will be worth the wait! 😋
Why USPS: We ship via the United States Postal Service (USPS) because we have found it to be the most cost-effective and reliable way to get your order to you. Having said that, USPS does experience shipping delays, misdirects, and lost shipments from time to time, especially during busy and/or unusual shipping seasons.
Please know that we have no control over USPS delivery or communication with the agency about any of our order packages once we deliver them to our local post office for shipping. One thing we do is to make sure that each package is scanned into the USPS system when we deliver them to minimize the chance of a shipment going missing.
A word on UPS: We do ship some packages via United Parcel Service (UPS), depending on weight and size, for $75+ orders. Your tracking information will indicate which service we have used.
Tracking Your Package: You will receive tracking information with the Shipping Notification that you are automatically sent when we process your shipping label. Tracking and delivery updates are generated by the USPS system and workers during the shipping and delivery process. We have no input or control over tracking updates or status provided. We are not responsible for USPS delays or mishaps you may experience and, though we HATE the idea of shipments getting lost, we are not responsible on the rare occasion when that occurs.
Please contact your local postal carrier or post office should any complications arise. They can be very helpful.
Shipping Label Details: Shopify generates a shipping label for an individual order using the shipping information that is provided by a customer with their order. Please make sure that the shipping address on your order is correct before submitting your order, and that it includes any apartment/floor number or specific information that your local post carrier needs to get your package to you.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you check your Order Confirmation that is automatically sent to you after you submit your order to make sure that all is good re: the shipping information we receive. Please email us immediately if there is something that needs to be corrected and we'll be happy do so.
Priority Mail vs. Ground Advantage: USPS Priority Mail gets your order to you in the fastest, most reliable way possible. Under normal circumstances, delivery is usually made in 1-4 business days, depending on your location.
IF YOU SELECT GROUND ADVANTAGE AS YOUR SHIPPING SERVICE, it will take your package longer to reach you.
Hot Seasons, Heat & Humidity: Please consider having your order delivered somewhere where it won't sit out in the sun or in humidity, or hold off ordering if your local weather is not suitable for a butter-based delivery.
Product Condition: It may be helpful to know that heat-impacted product can be confused for old product. Because we package fresh to order, old product won't be an issue! 😉👍🏼
